My Governess provides workshops and consultancy to parents and nannies to ensure your little one is learning and thriving in his or her own home environment. Services include personalised visits to your home, proactive weekly training at our offices and educational online programs.

Both a parent and a nanny are primary role models for children. Your home is a comfortable and happy learning environment for your child. My Governess will implement a positive relationship and enabling environment to link these two aspects of learning together.

Hi, my name is Tammy...
I love helping others, especially babies and toddlers, so I pursued my dream and obtained a Degree in Education. I arrived in Dubai in 2007 and quickly realised that I loved managing nursery schools and training teachers and nannies, as much as I loved teaching the children.
After having my own little girl in 2019, my perspective of child care changed. I never thought I’d feel separation anxiety when leaving her in a nursery school or at home with a nanny, but I did! I wanted her to have the one-to-one care a nanny could give, along with the educational component of exposing her to as many activities a nursery school could provide. I hired a nanny, who I guided and trained on how to create and conduct activities, as well as health and safety elements. I felt confident and my anxiety disappeared.
For the first time in almost a year, I didn’t feel guilty going to work or running errands. I felt happy, which made our whole family happy.
I want to provide that for every family.
All of our Head Governesses are fluent in English and have experience and qualifications in Early Years Education and childcare.
My Governess will provide each nanny with a monthly certificate, highlighting the workshops they participated in, as well as their strengths and future goals. We will also provide parents with informative parent guides and feedback after each session.
